Water sports fans take to Zeeland like fish take to water.
Diving in the breakers off the coast of Walcheren, sailing on the
Oosterschelde or windsurfing on the Veerse Meer - there is plenty of room
along the long stretches of beach.

This former work island, which now accommodates the exhibition with film,
slides and models, was set up originally as a coordination centre for the
construction of the Oosterschelde dam.

The coast of Zeeland and its hinterland is fascinating all year round.
People interested in the rich history of Zeeland can enjoy themselves in one of its
many historic towns.
Middelburg, for example, has no less than 1100 monuments.
In September and October Zeeland celebrates its Cultural Month with
a lot of music, film, theatre and special exhibitions.
